We are a group of freelance makers and performing artists that met extensively every week since September 2020 to discuss and research on the subject of working conditions and structural inequalities in our field. Based on the experiences of the Tozo system among freelance artists and cultural workers, and sensing the momentum, we decided to research and create a movement towards finding solutions for the precarious situation of freelancers working in the sector nowadays. Thus, the proposal of a flexsecurity aims for a sustainable, long-term practice, as well as to provide economical agency to freelance workers.
