Inappropriate Field Study II
By using performances, performative installations and drawings Nina Glockner is questioning the assumption of the free individual: she is interested in the social playground where humans play a certain role; acting, functioning, moving. Which parameter, which conditions within society are (unconsciously) influencing human actions and how do they change the individual status and inter- human relationships? The meaning, history and potential of any kind of objects surrounding us form a central point of interest within her work.
Nina Glockner lives and works as a performance artist in Amsterdam. She studied philosophy and Fine Art (BA at Academie Minerva Groningen and MA at the Sandberg Institute Amsterdam). Her performances and performative installations were shown in various places inside and outside the Netherlands (e.g. Paradiso, Lloyd Hotel, Jeanine Hofland Gallery).
