SUPPORT FLAM 2024

Facing the financial cuts that culture and the arts in The Netherlands are experiencing, FLAM needs your support to raise the final amount of 5.000€ . Therefore we are launching an analogue crowdfunding as part of the experimental FLAM own style of organising and curating this manifestation.
We hope to count with your support and any amount will be warmly welcomed! Your help will make possible to realise this beautiful edition with a fair pay to all people  involved!

WHISPERING SKINS
FLAM+Museumnacht 2024

30 October till 02 November Amsterdam

Perfomances at Art et Amicitiae
Side program at Goethe Institute, Veem House for Performance and Jacuzzi Dance Space

In the coming edition FLAM has the pleasure of being part of the Museumnacht Amsterdam 2024 program on the last day of the festival: a warm evening program  in the start of the winter season. FLAM 2024  invites it’s audience to open up to whispering skins, sounds, movements and diverse minds which will share and activate the space.

Embracing the versatile medium of performance, FLAM  offers a transformative 'close to the skin' experience. Through its unique characteristic of being the only live art festival in The Netherlands taking place in gallery spaces, it’s manifestation bridges the gap between the public and the artists, between the different art languages, between the mind and the senses.

As Mirjam van der Linden wrote in Dans Magazine (2023) about FLAM: "Instead of hanging art in the white spaces of Arti, the art is present in the physical space, moving, breathing, live and close to the skin of the audience that can 'smell' the work".

This year’s program counts with, besides performances, video installations and works where the audience can choose to take an active role, in the form of performative workshops.

Participating artists are Aaron Ratajczyk, Aion Arribas & Antje Nestel, Avantika Tibrewal, Clara Saito, Diane Mahín, Dora Longo Bahia, Ewa Dziarnowska, Elisa Zuppini, Fernando Belfiore, Flávia Pinheiro, Isadora Tomasi, Marina Orlova, masharu, Nica Roses, Paula Montecinos, Ropes Aligned & Isabel Cordeiro, Rosa Doornenbal, Tom Oliver Jacobson and Thais di Marco.
